Today is the 9th Sept 2009 (090909) which is auspicious for the Chinese, as it sounds similar to 'jiu, jiu', the Chinese word for 'long-lasting'. Thus, there are actually 366 couples tie their knots just on this particular day, despite the fact that its still the lunar 7th month. However, it is still lesser than the urrent record of 765 couples set on 7th July, 2007.

I believe that there will be more couples register at the ROM on 20th Sept 2009. Its quite a easy number for guys to remember their anniversary too. Quite a memorable one. I still remember adeline was joking around saying that ZJ would proposed on 20th July 2007 for its a memorable day plus its her birthday too. Well, nvm can try for 10 Oct 2010, probably by then the flat is ready for collection.

I really can't wait for to hear the 1st wedding bells. Can't wait to attend classmates wedding too. Probaby that's when we can have a full class gathering, since our gathering was actually on their 21st birthday, which was about 3 years back.
