Today marks the first day of watching <<明星志工队>> featuring on every Thur 8.00pm, channel U.

In each episode, the celebrities join volunteer organizations around different parts of the world to spread their love. Through the trips, they see the different sides of the country they visit, through the eyes of the less fortunate.

Besides the laborious physical effort, the celebrity volunteers get to engage themselves in public welfare activities, to learn various skills and to know the volunteers from all over the world.

This heart-warming programme touches on critical issues such as ecological conservation, environmental protection and public welfare. Through these selfless star volunteers, the programme seeks to re-ignite one’s compassion and appreciation of the simple joy.

Today's episode was actually on Darren Lim, who went all the way the one of the desert in China and required to plant trees in the desert to save the earth and reduce global warming.
Actually this project was set up by a guy 8 yrs ago. He did it all by himself. 8 yrs later 10 more volunteers joined in. The project planned to plant 100000 trees. The trees is actually desert hero able to survive for 3000 yrs. They plan to revive the scenery of the desert in the past where the trees are around and lake is available.

Frankly speaking, i find that this project was really really meaningful and useful. Imagine being there to plant the tree that will stand still on a part of the earth for 3000 years, creating a clean and healthy place for ur children.
Perhaps, perhaps i should try to volunteer going to that place and plant trees.
Actually i always wanna do volunteery work all along but lack of the courage.
Sigh.

I totally envy my girlfren whose fiance is so generous. At first he wanted to buy a cartier watch (cost abt $4000+) for her but now he feeling so generous and wanna buy a Jaeger LeCoultre watch that cost about $12000... Gosh.. $12000 i can buy alot of things and do alot of things xia.. I buy a $500+ coach bag also must think twice la..Somemore $500 plus is after staff purchase..lol..
If its me i rather buy Taghuer or Rolex watch la.. at least can sell away..haha

Tues Night, my colleagues and i decided to go to the seafood paradise last min for a dinner after work.
My very first visit to the Singapore Flyer (ok u can call me sua ku if u like, i dont care).
Anyway the crabs there are yummy-licious man.. We only ordered 2 crabs, a plate of prawns, sambal kang kong and a plate of fried rice and 25 small buns. The bill was abt 200+ for 5 of us. Gosh. I am so broke anyway i have not pay for it yet. On credit. Lol.
After which we took some candid photos which made me smile whenever i see them. Jolina commented that its been ages since she did exercises.

Its rather brave of her to actually interview and even view every process of it. Gosh, doubt i will do that. My mom say even give her few thousands per episode she also Dont wanna do it..lol..

Anyway i just had a haircut and treatment...

Today is another chocolate and ice cream girls meet up session. Its our very 1st KTV ever since we known each other for like 7 years. The reason is we only met up once a year for a Dinner. Its really a very nice ktv session with them. And i finally can sing the high pitch for Dai Ai Ling - "Dui de ren" song with no 'obstacles'. (^.~)(v)

Anyway today is a very absurb day for us. A very unlucky day for us.
Why?
Reason 1: Pin actually booked a room for ktv at crystalbelle but the auntie wrote the booking was on friday instead so we are not able to have our 10bucks cum wireless mic ktv. So we have to walk all the way to Chinatown Partyworld.

Reason 2: We had our quick bite at the mac before ktv but the aircon at the mac was spoilt thus we have to sit outside with the very windy weather.

Reason 3: Qi sat on the sofa that was sticky

Reason 4: When we end our KTV the weather was still alright but when we went to CK to buy things for less than 5 mins, the weather changed to a raining cats and dogs. In the end we are wet.

Reason 5: The rain became heavier and when we were just crossing the road half way the lightning strike above us with loud thunder. It hit on my little finger that was touching the metal part of the umbrella. It was a really really close lightning where all of us scream when we saw that. The lightning even trigger the alarm system of the goldsmith shop. The lightning seems so near us and the thunder was loud esp when we are outside crossing the road. Gosh its really terrifying. All of us screamed, but I think Pin screamed the loudest.
But we cant help laughing after we went to Deli Vege.

Anyway i shall wait for pin photos to upload then i can upload over here too.

Sigh gotta find kakhis to watch liao.. but most of my friends are either busy or cant accomodate to my working schedule. Sigh...

Its now 0100am and i am still online, surfing web, watching drama.
If my boy saw me here online at this hour he sure so gonna nag at me.*phew* he aint around.
Today work is TOTALLY not tired at all for we had a long hours of break as our MP not around Meaning no 'Government'. lol.
Alas, tml had a date with the chocolate girls for KTV. We decided not to just meet each other once a year but frequent thus we decided to meet up for ktv for we had not try it out together yet.
Been 4 mths since i last ktv-ed.
And i've 5 offdays straight this week. Cool

There are many things i am suppose to do like tidy up my table, watch some dramas, cut my hair..

I seriously think that my hair now sux.. Its too volumised and i shall cut it off.
Some say i look good in long hair others say the opposite..
What do u think?

I sincerely hope there are available stocks for the one i want.. i love staff purchase.

I knew it's a bit late to watch 10 promises to my dog. This show was screened quite some time ago. Anyway its a lovely movie. Very touching. It makes me think about the movie "Marley and Me". Sad Show.
Must watch..

Pets are for lifetime so here are the 10 promises to make if you are keeping a pet

Some maids are really irresponsible in taking care of the kid.
They can simply leave their kid to the playground and the maid just keep talking to the other maids. There are also many cases of maids abusing reported on the news too.

Anyway i also mentioned to my friends that one of my customer's maid stole away her 12 CHANEL bags and other branded bags too.
Yes, its 12 CHANEL bags, u never read it wrongly. I mean if she managed to sell the bags at half price and able to flee back to hometown, i bet she will be the richest of all. She will be able to buy land and build her bungalow there. LOL.

Of course i cant just assume all maids are like that, there are some (and i serious mean SOME only) nice maids around too.
But still we gotta put our guards on when we are dealing with the maids.

Anyway today is the 7th day of Michael Jackson's death. According to the chinese tradition, the souls will return on the 7th day. haha.

More cases of H1N1, peeps pls take good care of health and also avoid going overseas if possible.

I always yearned for family gathering and i always envy those people who can have weekend family gathering with their grandparents and uncles and aunties. Its gonna be so fun and its a luxury to me.

I used to have it when my grandpa is still around when i am younger. But ever since he is gone, relatives seldom gather together. To have ALL the aunties and uncles to gather around that would most probably only be on somebody funeral. Like at my fifth uncle funeral recently, (i did not go for i was working) most of the uncles came with their sons and daughters too. Its like a rare thing to see so many uncles gather i guess... Of cos i dun wish that to happen.

Basically, gathering doesn't happen in Chinese new year too for my mom's siblings are too many. Basically 10 siblings and the siblings have their family and grandson so if really they gathered, it would really need a very big place to do so. If really had to add the number of people i guess probably about 100? If only grandpa is around and still able to have 5 generation together. But anyway my grandpa died at very old age.

I do envy people with big family e.g. having 2 siblings and above. Its really fun to have so many people around and so many big sister and big brother to care for them. I know with too many siblings quarrels tend to happen frequent too but also maybe more care and concern and with many people sharing the burden too. With elder sister, you are able to share clothing, bags and shoes with each other. And with elder brother, there is someone whom can protect u from the bullies. Isnt it great?? I guess this is much a luxury thing for me.

That's why i like to have family dinner together and have it arranged till everyone (esp my busy brother) are able to make it. But this arrangement needs time too for my brother is always busy with his ENTERTAINMENTS thus no time for his FAMILY. So i seriously treasure lunch/dinner with my family.

Talking about family lunch, last sunday 28june, i made a reservation at Shangri-la Hotel @ the Line Restaurant to celebrate my mom's bdae. Its a international brunch buffet. Since my mom is 62 years old thus able to get 62% discount on overall bill. Its a pity that i ate quite little that day. But anyway on diet also cant eat much else putting on weight.
Anyway the food there is yummy-licious esp if u like seafood like fresh oysters, lobsters, prawns, mussels, clams and sashimi. Then it will be simply worth the money.
